A quiet stay in the Rhodope Mountains

The hotel stands in a 17,000 m² complex surrounded by mountain air, silence and wide views of the Rhodopes — with the comfort of a spa hotel, two pools, a restaurant, a gym and a sports ground. It suits a quiet break for two as well as families with children, groups of friends and guests who want to explore the Rhodopes and the old town of Zlatograd.

“Trakiyski Stan” Thracian Spa

The spa is built entirely in Thracian style. Its architecture recreates a Thracian temple, and the pool hall is modelled on the Thracian tomb at Sveshtari: the painted sky on the ceiling is held up by caryatids — statues of women with raised arms.

Open 10:30 – 19:00 (last entry 18:30). Free for hotel guests. The spa runs in full from 15 September to 1 June. In summer (1 June – 15 September) the sauna and steam bath are available on request, 3 hours in advance, also included in the price.

Outdoor pool in summer

From 1 June to 15 September the outdoor pool is open — 20 × 10 m, with a children’s section and a seating area with hydromassage jets in the adults’ part. It is built so that the mountain panorama opens from every point. Sun loungers, umbrellas, an outdoor bar and a barbecue are available. So there is a pool all year round: outdoors in summer, indoors and heated the rest of the year. Both pools are filled with water from the complex’s own captured spring.

Rhodope cuisine

The restaurant serves traditional Rhodope dishes and local specialities — Zlatograd patatnik with hand-rolled pastry, Rhodope kachamak, kavarma and slow-roasted lamb shoulder made to an old recipe. All hotel guests get 20% off in the restaurant for their whole stay.

For families and active guests

A children’s pool 60 cm deep next to the outdoor pool, a playground with a slide, swings and a climbing frame, high chairs in the restaurant and a free baby cot on request. A gym with cardio and strength equipment, table tennis, and a 40 × 20 m sports ground for volleyball, tennis and five-a-side football — all year round and free for guests.
